Thongs of Virtue a Hit!

It’s been an incredibly busy day here in Seattle at the first day of PAX. Not much time for blogging, but here’s a quick post showing that the Thongs of Virtue we handed out at the booth were a pretty huge hit.

Hothead Games will be in full-force at PAX in Seattle this weekend. This year our booth is twice as big and we’re showing two games instead of one! Show attendees will be able to check out live hourly demos of both DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue–the new adventure from your favorite thonged hero–and Swarm, Hothead’s exciting new action platformer slated for release in early 2011. In addition, we’ll have a bunch of kiosks setup for people to try the new DeathSpank game themselves.

PAX is the world premiere for showing game play from both of these titles which we think is only fitting. PAX has always been a show centered around gamers and gamer culture, and we love the way it helps us connect directly with the people that play our games. So if you’re at PAX this weekend come by our booth and say hi. And be sure to keep an eye on our Twitter feeds for a chance to win exclusive prizes during the show.

DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue

Have you played DeathSpank yet? If not, get it now since we already have another DeathSpank epic adventure hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network in September!

DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue is going to bring all the great action and humor of the original, but this time it’s bigger, it’s longer and it’s harder. Follow DeathSpank in his quest to collect the six Thongs of Virtue, mystical undergarments that bring both great power and corruption to those that wear them.

The new game takes DeathSpank to many new places in the vast, scrolling world including a war-torn land and even all the way to the North Pole. The same great co-op gameplay is in there too, this time with two co-op characters, both Sparkles the Wizard and the ninja, kung fu fighting Steve.

DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue will be available on PlayStation Network on September 21 for $14.99 and on Xbox LIVE Arcade on September 22 for 1200 Microsoft points.
