About The Game

Based on the popular comic strip Penny Arcade, On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an episodic RPG/Adventure where you join with Gabe and Tycho of the Startling Developments Detective Agency to solve strange mysteries lurking in New Arcadia. Set in the 1920s, the game places the familiar Penny Arcade protagonists in an alternate pulp horror setting reminiscent of the works of H. P. Lovecraft.

The creators of Penny Arcade teamed directly with us at Hothead to work on the game's content, ensuring an experience that will please Penny Arcade fans and non-fans alike. The first episode of the series debuted on May 21, 2008 and is available for Windows®, Mac® and Linux for $19.95, and on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for 1600 Microsoft Points. Additional episodes are anticipated to release about every four months.
